4th of july

Had a super awesome 4th of July this past weekend! Rich and I went to his friends house which is across the street from the beach and we just chilled out, took some walks, drank us some booze, ate some killer Korean food, and watched the sunset on the beach. I bought fireworks but we weren't able to light them that night...the cops were all over the place haha. So sometime soon we are going to light them on a random night and take some pics. Here's some of my favorites from the weekend.

I have to admit though, the best part of the weekend was spending it with Rich ;)

and I got a new hair cut recently...although it's hard for me to get it to lay like this most days lol.

and I don't look like this in real life but it's fun to pretend blemishes don't exist lol.

Oh and I fell in love with this painting that Richard did. He hasn't finished it yet (looks finished to me though lol), and even though it's two chicks kissing I totally love the colors and the intricate details he incorporated. You'd really have to see it in person to revel in it's wonders.

In other news, the rock on kits are almost on their way...still gathering everything and making them...shouldn't be too much longer! :D

and thats pretty much everything for now. Hope everyone has a great week! hugs, Adrienne

4th of july

Richard and I are off to his friends house for 4th of july. We even bought some fireworks today (I've never used real fireworks before so I'm super amped about that!).  They have a house at the beach so it should make for an exciting day :) and of course as always I'll be taking tons of pics to share. I hope everyone has a fun and SAFE 4th of july! see you soon. hugs, Adrienne

fun weekend

Hi Hi! I hope everyone is having a great week so far...I know I am! So, just to update everyone...I now have the rock on packages filled so I cannot take any more orders for that at this time. For those of you who purchased a package I will be purchasing all the products this weekend so just give me a little bit of time to put them together and ship off :)

Lately I have been busy editing photos for some friends and workin but since I now have illustrator and CS4 I've been playing around with that moreso than scrapbooking, but shortly I will be posting about 10 layouts that I did with all the brand new Prima goodies you can expect from this CHA show. If you check out the Prima blog you can actually see some of the paper collections I designed..theres a little peek there.

I'd also like to introduce you to my boyfriend Richard.

He's the sweetest ^-^ I tell you what, I'm a really lucky chick!
He's also an artist (both digital and traditional), and he seems to think that his paintings are "just ok...not really THAT great" . lol. Talk about modest. Here's one

I have more to share but I will have to post it all later...for now I'm in desperate need of sleep ^-^ hugs, Adrienne

I finally finally got the master collection of CS4 at my home computer and I'm so excited about that. Of course, I use illustrator and photoshop here at work but it's awesome to finally have it at home too! Here's a little something I made last night.

shipping

I've had a lot of questions on shipping costs for the rock on kits, so here's the dilli-o on that.

International buyers---if you purchase the full version kit I will ship for $15 flat. It will probably end up costing more, but I'll only charge $15. If you purchase the budget pack I will charge $8 flat. Same thing-it will probably cost more but I will only charge 8.

Domestic buyers--For the full kit I'm charging $10 flat and the budget is $5 flat.

You can either choose to pay the shipping along with your kit payment right away or you can wait until I invoice you right before I ship it.--either way works ;) let me know if any of you have more questions :) hugs, Adrienne

packages

Hi all! Ok so it looks like there's enough people interested so here's a couple kit packages I can offer. Please keep in mind that I have to purchase these at retail cost from Michaels just like everyone else because we don't have this stock in the Prima warehouse.

Shipping charges will be invoiced via Paypal once packages ship and will vary depending on your location. Domestic packages will be shipped via Priority mail, and international will ship standard mail (cheapest) unless otherwise specified.

As soon as I have at least 6 people purchase kits I can go ahead and make the purchases at Michaels (it gets expensive when purchasing in bulk like this). I will keep you notified via the email you have set up with Paypal on when to expect your package, but I think approximately three weeks from today (depending on how long it takes to sell 6 kits).

You may purchase more than one kit :) please let me know which kits you choose in the notes portion of your paypal payment. Send payments to: bucketscrap23@yahoo.combut please do not send emails to me through that email addy...as I never check it. If you have questions please email me adrienloom@aol.com

I am offering two kits:

1. The flower budget package- Cost: $25 not including shipping.

2. The full version Rock on package- Cost: $45 not including shipping.

Each kit gets a special gift package including embellishments that are rare and some which I designed that you cannot find anywhere else. The budget package gets a small version of the gift.

Here's more details:

Budget

Here's what you get in the full version Rock on package:

1. All the same flowers that are in the flower budget kit.
2. One piece of every paper in the Rock on love specialty paper pad. Half of these have an awesome glitter finish!
3. One piece of every color in the Rock on Specialty cardstock pad. Half of these have an awesome pearlescent finish in colors that you cant find elsewhere.
4. Two pink heart skulls (foiled sticker), and one blue flying heart (foiled sticker)
5. One full package of chipboard animal print alphabet
6. One piece of every color of the journaling notes.
7. And of course the special gift :)

kits?

Hi Hi! So. My roomate hasn't mowed his backyard grass in uhhhm looks like about 5-10 years hahah (serious face-I'm not joking), and when this happens your backyard just might start to grow some really interesting plants. With said plants comes interesting insects...and.....creatures. Creatures which are absent until the sun sets and then it's like a creature fiesta in the bushes. I swear you guys it's like a wildlife preserve back there. I never know what I'm going to see. I've recently realized there must be a wasp hive in one of the balcony pillars...I know, I KNOW...what brilliant wasp decided that was the prime picking? I do. not. know. But I do know there is one wasp that is very protective of it...he's like the bodyguard of the hive and he lets me know who's in charge every time I go out there. and it's definitely NOT me lol.

Rock On kit:

Moving on, I'm so glad to hear that you ladies (and guys) like the rock on collection! Thank you all so much for your sweet comments and emails! The collection is only available in Michaels stores which are only in the states and Canada and I know there have been a handful of international gals wanting to know how they can get their hands on it. I also know that even if you are in the states it can be pricey to buy one of everything. So. Here's what I'm wondering...if I sold a rock on kit where you get a little bit of everything. how many would be interested? I figure the kit would cost about $40-$50 and you would get everything in the collection...except I make it more affordable by splitting items that come in mass quantity. Plus I'm thinking I could include a bunch of other fun things that you can't buy anywhere else that I designed and made. Just leave me a comment on this post if you'd be interested and if there's enough people I'll look into it more. Would be great for the international people considering you can't purchase online or in your local craft store. ;) welps, no pictures for today, but definitely next post! hugs, Adrienne

Duuude. I've gained weight lol. I mean. Not that I'm surprised though...all those magical trips to jack n a box really pay off in a not-so-happy way hahah. But I took a couple pics of myself the other day so I have recent ones for the whole dating scene thang. I guess we'll see how it goes. I'm going back on weight watchers full force on monday and this time I know for sure I'm going to stick to it. I went out yesterday and bought all the stuff I need to make it a success so I'll update my blog on how thats going every now and then. My pants are getting tight--you KNOW your in trouble when that happens hahahah. What does everyone have planned for Memorial Day? I'm not really doing anything, which is actually nice...it's been such a long time since I can sit around and just enjoy a weekend. Maybe I'll rent a movie and (gasp) clean haha. oki doki ttual! (ttual=talk to you all later) hugs, adrienne

ello!

Lots of new adventures in my little world! I have been revamping my blog and myspace getting ready to debut my next book! I'm sooooo amped for this. What else....well nothing exciting enough to pee about lately, although I did finally get a chance to see my new collection at Michaels in the designer corner. I'm sure as I was feverishly taking pictures of it that the shoppers around me must have thought I was a nutcase...who goes into a store and takes pictures??? lol.

It's a two part collection, one geared towards boy and one geared towards girl. The girly paper pad is specialty and includes glittered papers- named "Rock on Love". The boy papers are similar to the girl version except more masculine colors, no specialty papers included in this one, but still pretty cool-it's named "Rock out Bro".

The entire collection includes: 2 patterned paper pads, 1 cardstock paper pad, two animal print flower packages, 2 say it in crystal designs, 2 chip plates packages (which is a new concept that I created that I'm excited about), 1 chipboard alphabet, 6 flower tubes, 2 foiled cardstock sticker strips, 1 journaling note package, and 1 5x7 patterned paper pad. fun fun fun! I really do love how everthing came out and even purchased a few myself hehe.

Chip plates: customize your own flower center by putting a crystal on one of the chipboard plates and then adhering the finished piece in the center of a flower...SO easy, so much fun!

I'll be sharing lots more peeks in the coming weeks :)

Also, this was a layout that I created for Memory Makers magazine that uses the Rebellious collection. Stacy E absolutely loved the collection (blush) so she wanted to feature it in her faves for this issue.

Now that I'm done writing the book, which basically consumed my entire life for months lol, I've noticed I actually have time!! omg, extra time, which I'm not used to having lol. I had a brilliant idea...why not fill that time by going on dates? lol. So I've dated a couple guys, nothing serious, just hangin out n junk...getting a feel of their personality, and I met a really awesome blossom named Todd. I like spending time with him...it's super comfy...almost like I've known him for years--really odd but yah he's a goofball just like me lol.

welps, I think thats about it for now! whew, long post eh? Hugs to all, Adrienne

ello!

Soooo, I know I have had some problems updating my blog...but in about 3 weeks not only will my blog be totally revamped, but I'll also be revamping my myspace page. When this happens I will be blogging much more often and I'm SO excited because I miss it! I miss scrapbooking, I miss lots of things, but in the end I know what I'm doing is going to be really worth it.

Here's a little random sidenote: make sure to pay your tickets lol...otherwise they won't let you get your registration until they are paid. AND, don't block a handicap accessible sidewalk else you will get a $275 ticket like me LOL. if you live in in california. If you dont live in california...well then, lucky you! haha. talk to you all soon!! excited excited.
