long one again

wow I went a long time without blogging eh?????????? Truth is I really have been extremely busy. In fact, given some amazing amazing amazzzzzzzzzing opportunities that believe me---nobody.can.pass.up. (ps-they are scrap-related and holy cow...I wish I could spill....they won't let me though--evil lol). So anyways, I had to really re-think everything I am involved with right now. It is just not humanly possible (I tried all-nighters and it totally did not work) to keep everything on my plate with these new "additions" to my schedule. I had to really take everything into consideration......even this blog. The conclusion is that I am closing down Color It for the time being.  I recently left the design team with Queen and Co so that I could keep Color It in business but if I am closing Color It for these things I'm working on.....can you only imagine what they are???? hehehe. Ok sorry--that was totally evil of me haha. I just wanted to say to everyone that I am very sorry if this causes inconvenience (if you planned to make an order etc)..but seriously it will be worth it.

I do however plan to bring a bunch of the button packages to give away at my workshops in Holland though if you plan to attend they will be free. :O)

The only thing though is that I have come so accustomed to the income I've gained from Color It that it will take some getting used to not having the extra cash around. Did I mention I'm totally poor? haha. Ok I'm not Willy Wonka poor...but close haha. So an alternative that I am taking is that I'm going to sell a bunch of fun artwork on etsy. Just small paintings and digital prints. I figure that if I'm not scrapbooking or working on design team or the secret stuff I can paint or do some digital stuff for fun and try to sell it in the etsy. And if I get really super busy at least I won't get in over my head. This way I can choose when to put something up for sale. I prolly won't sell anything but I'm hoping some big wig stock broker who collects amatuer art takes a liking to them and sells them out. Maybe then I can afford the 16 pieces of Hambly I ordered 4 days ago :oS

When I made her in photoshop the background was a lot brighter actually...looked more like this.....but I think I like the prints better anyways.

I am so impressed too because both the 8"x8" and the 5"x5" ones are VERY smooth and the quality is superior!! And the paintings below will be sold there too. I'm still setting it all up and getting fully registered right now though :) so I don't have the link yet.

I totally have to blog this because well she is my idol. Kelli Crowe...yes people--the big KC emailed me a few days ago!!!!!!!!! me???!!!! I was like wha Wha WHA???? lol. Dude she has been like my scrapbook idol for the longest time and I nearly fell off my chair when I read her email. THAT was a flippin happy day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh yah I got a bunch of scrappin' supplies in the mail this week too. Only thing is I have to use this stuff to make the samples for the workshops in Holland so I can only show like sneak peeks. Which speaking of.....here's a sneak peek of one of them I'll be teaching which focuses on altering embellishments (lots of never before seen materials too!). www.stampedhouse.com will start the registrations in May:

Why?  You need to get the mail and your in jammies. You change AND put makeup on "just in case.....". You need to run to the store real quick and you've been lounging all day, you put an outfit and makeup on "just in case......" Well WHY is it that the ONE time you think to yourself "ahhhh I'm not going to run into anyone" (and it just so happens to be 11pm making the "odds" that much less) that you run into a guy.......a guy you actually DATED almost 2 YEARS AGO??? and guess what? You are wearing slumpy clothing with no makeup this time, the ONLY time where it mattered. <sigh>
