Got my scrap on...
I'm *kind of* feeling the creative-ness come back which is awesome. I think I've figured it out though. It seems like when I'm stressed out, when I know I have a lot of stuff I need to do, I can't relax...and it takes a major toll on my scrapbooking. It sucks though because there are times when I REALLY want to dig into my stuff but nothing I make seems to follow my "vision" ya know? So, even though I'm stressin I'm starting to feel the groove again ;)
This one uses all brand spanking new Prima goods like the patterned papers, flowers, and fancy ribbon.
Made this one from the www.scrapinstyletv.com new Style Phyle collection...except it's sold out already ;( but there will be a new one for next month!
This one is a mix of the sold out Style Phyle and new Prima goods (yes I've been attacking this new stuff like nobody's business!).
And......yes.
more style phyle business lol.
Bought this gorgeous watch...but I have to get some links taken out
been up to more photography, and more editing
So the new job. I'm still hanging out in the military for now. I have to get a bunch of tasks completed before I get out, but looks like my official last day will be the 16th of April. I have vacation saved up so *really* my last day should be the 24th of March, and I'll most likely begin my new job on the 1st of May. I'll be moving closer to my famiIy...about a two hour move from where I'm at now. Where exactly??--I have. no. idea. but I'll be doing the move when I take my vacation.
But tell me this isn't totally meant to be.
Not only is my new job something I LOVE doing, and am fully capable of doing,
but it's also with a really fun and exciting manufacturer!
and get this.
Not only are they located in California,
but they are located about 20 minutes from my families house!
so yah I'm totally excited about it ;)
and I'm not really sure if I'm even supposed to tell anyone who it is so I'll keep it under wraps for now.
And the beastly spider that dwells in my couch...kind of funny story. So I was watching a movie a few weeks ago chowing down on some tostido chips when I feel a little tickle on my shoulder. I look and go to scratch and there is this HAAAUUUGE spider just chillen on my arm. I mean this thing was so big you could practically see it's eyeballs staring me down. I'm. really. not. kidding.
So naturally I freak out and jump off the couch "swooshing" it off of me and I didn't know where it went and I was so freaked out that theres a possibility this thing crawled under my clothes...that I
proceeded to completely strip down to my birthday suit. And when I did this...I didn't do it in a rational way...it was more like ripping all of it off while jumping and swooshing. (jumping because it might have fell onto the floor).
I have issues--I know.
So then when I regain my composer and see the situation at hand like a rational person I decide to clothe myself again. But there's a problem now. Said spider is MIA. For all I know, it might have jumped off of me while I was doing my little dance and crawled into my bag of chips...or right back into the couch. {shudder}. Thoughts start rolling in...like will I ever be able to sit on that couch knowing this beast spider dwells in it?? Well the other day I came home and before I sat on my couch I noticed some odd looking "threads" on my fleece blanket (that I covered my couch with so that the spider can't crawl through the cushions and get me--again, I have issues lol), and when I take a closer look I realize those aren't threads at all. Those my friend....are spider legs. Spider legs...but no spider. Interesting. I look to my left and see Bruiser and put two and two together. I think Bruiser decided to have a little snack ;)
Now lets just hope that there isn't a family hiding out in my couch. Lets hope my couch served as a bachelor pad :)
In any case I'll be moving soon so it's no big thing but dang. That thing lasted over 3 weeks!
Hugs, Adrienne

THAT IS THE FUNNIEST STORY I HAVE EVER HEARD!!! OMG!!! I absolutely hate spiders!! I used to spray them with hairspray until they died, and then of course, I didn't throw them away...that would required me getting too close. So, I just left, the now sticky, bastards there!
Good luck on the move and job!
Later, BP

LOL at the spider story--not because I am laughing AT you but b/c I'd do the SAME exact thing if that happened to me. I once threw out my arm flinging a spider off of myself! Congrats on the new job--I can't wait to hear what you'll be doing!

Good luck with all the future changes (and that NEW job).
Love the photos, too.
And in my opinion, I think I'd rather have a spider over a mouse anyday.

con. gra. tul. ations. !!! That's awesome about the job! And good luck with moving! lol I like moving, I think it's exciting! I've only moved three times though in my whole life... so... And that whoooole story about the beast!??? I felt like I was reading a story about myself!!! I swear... A couple mornings ago, I woke up and turned on the light only to find that there was a HUGEEEEEEE spider laying on the pillow RIGHT next to my head. And the rest of the story is basically the same as yours except my little monster is still on the loose. I haven't slept in my bed for about two weeks. eek.

I have a guess for your new job and if I'm right, OH MY GOSH SO COOL. I'm just glad it's something you love. Life is too short for that not to be the case. :)
I already drooled all over your work at SIS but you know I love you.
The spider thing? DUDE. You are all kinds of awesome crazy and I'm glad Bruiser has got your back. ;)

Upstate Ny has fabulous places to live.
In fact, we have a spare room.
All I'll need is you to scrap with me every-single-day.
I'll make you Mexican Food and Pie.

Congrats on your new job, this is so exciting! Glad for you that you are able doing something you really love, can't wait to know what it will be. :)
And I am so sorry, but I am still laughing about your spider fight. I so know what you mean, I've got serious spider issues too. And reading your story ... it reminds so much of myself. ;)

cool stuff. Your move sounds exciting and good in all kinds of ways. I really hope you scared the spider away as the story freaked me out tooo.

Haha...that's so funny! Way to go Bruiser! When I want a spider getting rid of, I generally get my cat...he eats it right up too!!
