I spent quite some time testing this bad boy out. I printed for a couple weeks now to give you a super accurate review, and so here it goes :)
Lets talk about the gloss optimizer technology
Epson also claims that with the R1900 you get deeper blacks. This new feature is thanks to a new ink cartridge catered to just that (matte black cartridge). I tested this out with several pictures and even compared the pictures from previous printers and yes it's very true that the blacks are much richer. Actually I don't think you can get any blacker lol.
and now for the most important part :)
so folks, I would 100% recommend this printer. My aunt has one now too (I'm persuasive eh?? lol) and she's going to give me her side of what she likes about it since she looks at printing from a different perspective- I'll keep you updated. And if you have any questions about this one please by all means email me...I would be more than happy to discuss a feature or enlighten you on it's awesome-ness :)
Just wanted to post that registrations for the new and improved artistic edge course are nowwwwwww open! horay! You can view details and purchase your ticket in righty over here.
Like I mentioned before we will be learning a whole new slew of awesome things along with some of the original lessons. Another improvement I've made is that instead of daily lesson I have structured it so that all the lessons are already posted once you enter the "classroom". This way *you* choose how many you want to learn each day :) good stuff. so yah, if your interested, the link above will lend ya all the details. and for only $30 you can't go wrong lol.
K I'm off to get some pictures uploaded so I can do a real non-salepersony post hahhaha. well plus I must post the Epson review...see you soon! :D
For 8 months it has not been available, but don't fret dear friends--tomorrow registrations will once again open for Artistic Edge. This time there are triple the amount of lessons, tips, tricks, and I'll even be showing you firsthand what other programs are capable of such as Adobe Lightroom and more! Stay tuned...you don't wanna miss this one! :) hugs
I've already had a few questions about the classes I listed below and some of you made very good points. If you already have the supplies that I listed for the course kits...or if you just want to learn the concept without the kit you can purchase registration at a discounted price with no shipment of products. :) I don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place. I know that many of you probably don't have the Gama-Go gear but like I mentioned if you just wanna learn the concept then I can offer that as well.
So, if you would like to register for canvas collage art (with the picture of the dripping paint) with no kit shipment you can do that by clicking herefor $25
Or if you would to register for the Gama-Go classroom without a kit shipment you can do so by clickinghere for $25
A PDF file will be sent to ALL registrations :)
Thanks again...really excited and have more to share with you tonight! :D hugs, Adrienne
Finally ready to share with you all a new venture I've been working on :) .

"Shhh...It's secret" series workshop #2:
Here's what you will need to have in order to complete this project: --a miniature hole punch (one that people typically use to create a hole to put an eyelet through). A cropodile will definitely work. a normal hole punch will work also but not recommended as the holes will be noticable.
--Tacky glue such as fabritech or hot glue gun. Something that adheres plastic. thats it! I will be supplying you with everything else you will need!! To purchase registration to this workshop click HERE :)

I think thats all the recent ones :) I'll be posting the review very VERY soon...and will also be posting about a class I will be teaching at the Prima warehouse on December 20th. Talk soon, big hugsss, Adrienne
weeeeeeeeeee. I'm excited because I got this sweet little number from the postman a few days ago..
It looks like a normal sized printer but it's actually the new Epson R1900 which is a large professional grade inkjet printer. It's prints at 13"x19" but you can also use roll paper in it so you can make killer panaramas with that! Anyways, I LOVE Epson printers...they have always been my #1 choice...and I will never buy a different brand lol. Does that sound sales-pitchy or what? haha. but I'm gunna do a review on this one because I'm serious you need to see what this thing does! So I'll be doing that this weekend.
I also took a couple pics in my halfway painted apt last night before I left on a date (which by the way was rad!).
Today is an exciting day as we got a lot of new samples in at Prima. I got to see for the first time many of the products I designed in person and it's such a weird feeling! Winter CHA can't come soon enough!!! Prima is coming out with some of the most killer wicked cool products that I've seen in a long time! The last time I was this excited about a new product was back when KI came out with those foamy mini embellishments lol. so yah it's exciting :D
I have a few questions to answer on my blog from commenters so I'll do that over the weekend...sorry it has taken me a while lol. hugsssssss
I looooooved France! Now, I didn't get a chance to visit the eiffel tower or tour around Paris but I did get to see and do some pretty killer things. Celine and Damien were phenominal people!!---but I knew that before I came to begin with lol. I didn't realize how big of a language barrier there was...English is not widely used there so most of the time Celine had to translate for me (poor thing haha). As far as the event goes...I have to say that I was pretty impressed with how proffessional everything was. I had a lot of fun and I think everyone else did as well...things went pretty smoothly. In fact, I may be going to next years event! so thats pretty exciting.
I had the wonderful chance to meet and have a homemade dinner with Celine's family--that was really heart warming--and we had a cheese tasting fiesta and I tried the SMELLIEST cheese in the world...it was funny...they had to give me a drink to wash the taste away hahahha. good stuff.
I also met Karine who is Celine's best friend and also the other woman behind Entre Artistes. She also was super welcoming and though she didn't speak much english we managed to still communicate. One thing that really struck me was that out of everything she's accomplished she is very reserved and humble about it...which I totally admire.
I thought I saw a dove but it turned out to be a really pretty pigeon. that was great. and random.
Celines tiny little doggie chased a great dame dog. That was also pretty great. and random ^-^
The food was KILLER good! omg. so good. Their food is pretty different but really REALLY tasty.
and I could talk forever about the experience but I'll bore you lol so onto the pictures :)
Arriving at the Paris airport where I had an 8 hour overlay LOL. Don't even get me started. I dunno how I dealt.
The day after I arrived in Montepellier Celine took me to a HUGE castle-bless her sweet dear heart. It was so big in fact that there was an entire city inside!!!
We did a bit of shopping...and my wallet TOOK OFF like a bolt of lightning lol.
and I HAD to take a couple pics of Celine's house because the girl is SO creative and her decor made me drool all. over. the. floor.
Then I took some pics around the area she lives at.
And then of course the event...which I will post more pics of later...I have like 300 pictures of the events so its gunna take me a while to get them all together.
and this is the mini that I taught using rose moka paper and letters and Prima embellishments
and then there was more shopping. and more sight seeing.
so I guess I will just leave it at that for now :) the only thing missing that would have made it an even more phenominal trip was corinne d. I miss ya girl!!! maybe next year. hugs to all! Adrienne
